I recalled, it must have being some 22 years ever since I last encountered fireflies. When I was very young, my family followed my dad, who had to relocate to a bigger city due to his career requirement. Ever since staying in big cities, I have never encountered fireflies and that was until yesterday, I had an opportunity to join Kawa Kawa River Cruise. It was experience of my life time.

This is the only best Aquarium & Marine Museum in Kota Kinabalu that is worth a visit as at date of this writing.
Located about 10 km away from Kota Kinabalu city centre, the Aquarium & Marine Museum is actually part of the research centre under the Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) campus. It was established in 1995 with the aim to educate, conduct research and training as well as to promote the sustainability of marine resources in Sabah. Among the facilities include free standing exhibition tanks, life open water reef exhibition center and Multimedia Interactive Information Kiosk.
